  3. I was surprised that the article said that most college students don't know who Matthew Shepard is.

    At my son's middle school, the PE teachers have anti-bullying units. Last year they spoke openly about the Lawrence King harassment and killing. I'll have to ask my son if he's heard of Matthew Shepard.

  5. Sorry I missed the show, Ajai. I got myself a miserable cold.

    That video of the beating is terrible. It's so sad that young people are raised to think that's ok.

    On another note, I met yet another young person who is not allowed in their parent's home because she told them she is a Lesbian.

    Really, shouldn't there be a test to be a parent? Maybe that's unreasonable, but we really need to do something!

  6. They should watch For the Bible Tells Me So. The mother who couldn't accept her daughter's orientation until she committed suicide could be a valuable lesson.
