'Colorfully' called blaxploitation in the 70s. The NAACP protested them out of existence. Low brow, ultraviolent, exploitations. Not afraid of politics, but dated by by today's standards.
Secretly, the best movies. Awesome soundtracks, and just basic badassness.
I agree, one of my favorite genres too. I have always loved the spoof on "Kentucky Fried Movie" with Big Jim Slade... Funny stuff. MadTV did some good stuff too with Dolamite.
