I heard this about this on the news a couple weeks ago...a Scottish official was explaining why they were letting this guy out of their prison. They called it humanitarian.
I'm sorry, but this is wrong. If they want to allow his family to visit him in prison that is one thing, but are we going to start letting convicted mass murderers out of prison when we find out they have a terminal illness?
Further, I am appalled that he received a 'hero's welcome' in Libya.

The whole thing is disgusting.
I was glad to hear Obama denounced this action.
The fact that Abdul Baset Ali-alMegrahi could be considered - even under humanitarian reasons - to be released is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone think that Libya would hail him as anything but a hero?
I for one am shocked that this hasn't turned out to be President Bush's fault! :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows it's Cheney's fault :)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Condie, and Rummy! Thank God Powell got out when he did!

ReplyDeleteI agree!
If he would have opposed Obama would he be racist?
